SETTLING IN AUCKLANDAuckland New Zealand is purely outside our comfort zone. Different weather, lifestyle, people and definite culture. Asian food, however, is surprisingly easy to obtain. Belacan, cili padi, kicap and even DURIAN! One thing we know, we won't miss Asam pedas, nasi goreng kampung, kari ikan etc. We are lucky to have friends and famlies that are ever helpful and concerned with our wellbeing.
Back in KL, we have my friends in ITD and Kulliyyah of Engineering, Che Din in MSD, Azahar in Japan (who is ever willing to listen to my story), Kak Ani, Joe, Azhar, Kak Saadiah in Auckland whom presence in our life has made this journey a pleasant and ahssle-free one.
Of course my wife Asiah and two children Ashraf and Humaira are my amongst my greatest inspirations. Asiah's positive attitude and views towards every problems we faced, Ashraf's playful smile and Humaira's adorable eyes wipe all troubles away and makes me thank Allah for the joy he has sent to my life. We are learning a lot being here in New Zealand.
InsyaAllah, we will find that Comfort!
