Of Phd And Me


Firstly I would like to congratulate to friends of mine for completing their PhD studies, namely:
1. Dr. Effiezal Abd Wahab, of Auckland University, New Zealand
2. Dr. Anis Norashikin Noordin, of George Washington University, USA
Your success brings motivation to me to pursue this quest though how hard it gets.

Secondly I am now struggling to make sense of a paper I found in an effort to justify my results obtained from my simulation work. I have proven via simulation that my scheme worked but my supervisor thinks that its best if I could proof it using a mathematical model. So double justifications. This means an extra time required as I did not anticipate this when I drew up my research time-table. I hope I could meet someone at the Maths dept and get my problem sorted. It really feels running thru a brick wall, am giving myself till march to get a solution to this problem. Hope everything goes well.
