A New Beginning

On the 1st of December 2006, we have moved to a new flat closer to Ashraf's kinddi. Soon my department will shifting there too. Moving house is such a tiring affair. We've started packing weeks before i.e. the moment we sighted and signed the tenancy agreement. On Thursday 30th November 2006, we have started transporting car-loads of stuff. We slept in the new flat that night. The next day I rented a 2-ton furniture truck from North harbour rentals and moved the truck load of furnitures and stuff. I never thought that we have so much stuff. The fun didnt stop there, we had to clean the old flat. Just imagine the dust that have accumulated behind the bed and furnitures. 1 year ++ of dusts. Gosh! I never thought we accumulated so much dust ... lol.
To add more fun, we had to clean the new flat too. I rate it as "filthy" with a capital "F". On Sunday, we met Petro and Richard (our landlords) to return the key to the old flat. They were pleased with the cleanliness of the flat. They better, considering the effort we've put in to achieve it. Asiah and me were so flat out after that.
Now the new place is generally pleasing. Bigger lounge, our own garden, bigger masterbed room, carpark just infront of the unit, infront of Ashraf's kinddi, pleasant neighbours. Hope we won't encounter too much unpleasant experiences. InsyaAllah.
