Muharram 1427

Alhamdulillah, I am so blessed to meet another Muharram. Praised be to the Almighty for giving me His blessings. Things has settled after the family's fight with chicken pox. Our new born, Ashraf Danial (right pix), is now gaining weight. He is such a jovial fella, smiling at everyone looking at his hazel-shaped eyes. Humaira has started saying 2-word sentences, like air-susu, an-ju (which stands for uncle zul, our family friend) and ten-chiu (thank you). She is just adorable. My lad, Ashraf is as witty as ever. I think he will grow up to be a sportsman. He is cunning and fast, likes sports and choosy of what he eats. He loves vege and fruits, drinks glasses of water and fresh milk in a day. As for my wife, Asiah, she is ever strong in handling our finance, household and the kids! I pray that Allah gives her the courage and strength to walk through our 3-years here. It is autumn now, I am really looking forward to winter as Danial will be 7 month old and I plan to bring them around Auckland.

I have just submitted a conference paper to the ICCCE06 committee. The paper is actually a literature review and research direction for my PhD thesis. Doing the paper makes me realize that I have much much more to learn and discover. If thinks go well, InsyaAllah, I might go back to Malaysia in May this year; alone though :(
